Safety Center

You are in control of every conversation on KAMLOO.

Built-in safety tools

  • One-tap End call — instantly ends the connection and stops your camera and microphone.
  • Next — disconnects and immediately searches for a new partner. Your tracks are stopped first.
  • Block — prevents that user from messaging you, following you or being matched with you again.
  • Report — available on every profile, call, live stream and comment, with detailed reasons.
  • Account statuses — banned and suspended accounts cannot log in, call, message or go live.
  • Safe mode — an opt-in extra filtering layer, available in Settings → Privacy.

Golden rules for random video chat

  1. Never share personal information. No full name, address, phone number, workplace, school or financial details.
  2. Assume anything can be seen. Even though KAMLOO does not record calls, the other person could use screen recording. Dress and behave accordingly.
  3. Do not move to another platform. Scammers often try to move you to an unmoderated app where KAMLOO's protections do not apply.
  4. Never send money. No legitimate person on a video chat platform needs your money, gift cards or cryptocurrency.
  5. Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, press End. You owe nobody an explanation.
  6. Keep the camera pointed safely. Be aware of what is visible behind you — documents, windows, family members.
  7. Do not click links sent by strangers in chat or comments.
  8. Report, do not retaliate. If someone harasses you, use the report button rather than responding in kind.

Red flags: signs of a scam

  • Someone quickly declares strong romantic feelings and asks to move to another app.
  • Requests for money, gift cards, crypto, "verification fees" or "customs payments".
  • Pressure to remove your clothes or perform on camera, then threats to share recordings.
  • Links to "private videos" or "exclusive content" that require a login.
  • Anyone claiming to be KAMLOO staff asking for your password. We never ask for your password.

If someone threatens to share your images

This is called sextortion and it is a crime in most countries. Do not pay. Do not send more. Take screenshots as evidence, block the user, report them on KAMLOO immediately, and contact your local police and a dedicated support organisation in your country.

Underage users

KAMLOO requires users to be at least 13 years old. If you encounter someone who appears to be underage, report them immediately using the "Underage concern" reason. Reports of this type are prioritised.

Protecting your account

  • Use a long, unique password you do not use anywhere else.
  • Never share your password or the "remember me" link.
  • Log out on shared or public devices.
  • Review your blocked list regularly in Settings.

Technical safety

Always access KAMLOO over https://. WebRTC camera and microphone access requires a secure context; browsers block it on plain HTTP. If your address bar does not show a padlock, do not grant camera access.

Report a serious safety issue

For urgent safety concerns, email yaozaidigital@gmail.com or use the contact form and select "Safety" as the subject. For immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
